This post is related to my previous post about my Flight001 purchases, but I wanted to follow up and write about how handy this SeatPak was for my trip to Europe. As you can see in the picture I was able to hang it on to the back of the seat and it help all the items I would want on the plane. My Kindle, earplugs, eyemask, lotions, headphones, wipes, phone, and some medicine (just in case). Everything was easy to get at and organized. It was also great for the rest of the trip when we were moving from one city to the next. I strongly recommend the product! I recently went to Prague, Vienna and Budapest and had a great time. I was gone for 6 nights, the weather was going to be in the 40s and a bit rainy so I had to pack smart. I checked my duffle bag, but if I had to I could have carried it on (love that international flights don't charge for checked bags). Take a look at the packing!
As you can see I laid out the items I wanted to pack first. This gave me a good visual of what I had ready, the different outfits I could make and how I was sorting things. I packed a pair of booties, then my Sperrys (great for walking around) which I stuffed with camisoles to protect the shoes and store the tanks. I wore the clunkiest shoes- tall brown boots. I used my packing cubes from Eagle Creek to make sure everything compressed and fit in the bag.
One cube had sweaters
One cube had pants
One cube a scarf and gloves
One cube dresses and cardigan
One cube for electronics
One cube had the Sperrys
The Flight001 pouch had the booties
Wash Wear travel item from JCrew had the unmentionables
Then the last cube had some miscellaneous items
It was a good amount of stuff, but it all fit in the duffle! I felt prepared and wore almost every item.
My Flight001 carry on bag had another handbag within it (this one would be my day to day bag), plus my camera bag, travel pillow/blanket, the SeatPak I will mention in another post again, plus travel documents. I was comfortable carrying this bag and felt everything I had inside was appropriate/necessary. Oh, also my jewelry- never check your jewelry!
